History of OUR Prestigeous club

The club was established on 3rd march 2001 by the sports lovers and

punjabi culture lovers of the Begowal area.

The first sports and cultural tournament was held on 7th April 2001. Sh. Balwinder Singh Phidoo, great Kabaddi player and winner of highest sports award of India 'THE ARJUNA AWARD' was appointed Chairman of the Club.

An ardent sports lover and teacher Sh.Satpal Singh Balli was the founder President of the club. He contributed notable services to the club.

Every year a big sporting event and cultural programme is held in the month of Feburary in the grounds of Sant Prem Singh Senoir Secondrary School Begowal Distt. Kapurthala.In 2005,due to sudden demise of *SH. Satpal Singh Balli*the President of the Club,

Sh. Surinder Singh Ruby, a known social worker and great personality of the area was elected president of the club. The club is progressing very fast under his leadership.

The club is organising its7th sports tournament and cultural programme on 23,24 feb 2007.like every year this time too there will be kabaddi competitions between major kabaddi clubs of punjab lasting over two days.on the evening of second day a cultural programme will be held consisting of various artists. Attractive prizes will be given to the participents.










Charan Singh D C Bariar USA is patron of the club and Master Norang Singh 'Awan' USA is the chairman of the overseas wing of the club. Both are contributing appriciabilly for all the events of the club.
